Audition Information
- Please attend any vocal audition and dance call that you choose. All auditioners must attend a dance call unless the character(s) they are auditioning for specifically state that they do not need to attend the dance call. No appointments necessary.
- For your vocal auditions, we ask that you please prepare 32 bars of a contemporary Broadway musical in a similar style to Legally Blonde the Musical.
- If you are a dancer who does not sing, you can attend any dance call you wish.
- Please bring sheet music that is appropriately marked with your audition cut and in the appropriate key.
- An accompanist will be provided. No prerecorded tracks will be accommodated at the auditions.
- We prefer that you attend the in person auditions, but if you are unable to attend, you can submit a video audition through our audition form. Audition videos are due by Saturday, April 5th by 11:50 pm and should consist of a 1 minute vocal selection as outlined previously. Tracks are fine.
- Callbacks will be held in person except in extenuating circumstances.
- Sign ins will be available for the first 2 hours of the audition session.
Audition Form
Please fill out the audition form prior to audition date. No need to bring physical headshot/resume unless you are unable to fill out our online form. The audition form will be available at the audition to fill out if you are unable to do so ahead of time. Auditions must be individual – no duets or group audition
The show will be performed at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park on the following dates:
– August 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th
– August 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th
– August 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd
Callbacks
- Callback invitations and materials will be shared following the initial auditions.
- Callbacks will be held on Saturday, April 12th and Sunday April 13th throughout the day/evening.
- We appreciate you making yourselves available for all callback dates, we will have a specific schedule should you be invited for callbacks.

- Huntsman Entertainment is committed to inclusive casting. All ethnicities, gender identities and body types are encouraged to audition.
- Super Summer Theatre is a community theatre organization. There is no pay for performers, but a stipend and comp tickets will be provided.
Production and Rehearsal Information
Production and dress rehearsal dates for Legally Blonde The Musical are as follows:
Dress Rehearsals: August 2, 4, 5
Performances: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday August 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23 as well as a contingency performance on Tuesday, August 19
Performers MUST be available for all dress rehearsal and performance dates.
Rehearsals will take place at Super Summer Theatre Studios.
Rehearsals will begin around May 12th and will take place on weekday evenings. Some Saturday rehearsals may be added based on cast availability and needs.
Tech and Dress rehearsals at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park will begin on July 24th and will include Saturday rehearsals.
Character Breakdown
Please note – the gender, age and vocal range indications refer to the CHARACTER, not the ACTOR. Therefore, if an actor appears to be in the age range, can convincingly portray the gender of the character and meet the vocal requirements of the character, they may be considered for said character regardless of their age or gender
Elle Woods
The quintessential Valley Girl who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School and realizes that she has more to offer than just a pretty face and a bubbly personality.
